Mimeomia

About

Mimeomia follows five characters as we see the effect of toxic masculinity on their day-to-day lives. The new devised show questions the social construct of what it means to “man up” and how masculine behaviour affects females as well as males.

Worked through a narrative that explores relationships, grievance and sexuality, this is a show that not only explores what it means to be a man, but questions the broader implications of masculinity for young people in our society.

The show was first performed at Theatre Utopia, Croydon from the 13th to the 16th of July 2017. It will next be performed at The Courtyard Theatre in Hoxton starting August 3rd and running until the 5th.
